The Gospel Explained
In the beginning, God created us in His image, designed for a relationship with Him. He gave us free will, and with that, Adam and Eve chose to disobey God, bringing sin into the world. Sin separates us from a holy and just God, but in His great grace and mercy, God made a way for us to be redeemed and reconciled to Him. This is the Gospel, which means the Good News—God's plan of salvation through Jesus Christ.
Scriptures:
-
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, - Romans 3:23
-
As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one; - Romans 3:10
-
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
-
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned - Romans 5:12
-
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23
-
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” - Romans 10:9-11
-
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. - Romans 10:13
Our Theology
Our Belief
Our theology is firmly rooted in the foundational truths of the Christian faith. We believe in the Trinity: one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We affirm the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the cornerstone of salvation and the propitiation for our sins, providing redemption and the promise of eternal life to all who place their faith in Jesus. We uphold the Holy Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God, serving as the ultimate authority and guide for faith and life. These core beliefs shape our mission and are central to everything we do at I Am A Witness.
Ask two Christians about their doctrine on certain topics, and you might hear two different answers. However, we remain steadfast in our commitment to these core principles of the faith. Our focus remains on glorifying God, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, and sharing His transformative love with the world. These shared beliefs form the foundation of our ministry and unite us in our mission to inspire, encourage, and reach others with the hope of Christ.
